The Clerk’s absentee ballot request form takes a minute. Mail within the county can take a week, so send ballots back early or use the drop box outside the County Administration Building.

Any of the five vote centers, regardless of where you live in the county:

Rules that apply to every election
- Registration closes 14 days before each election. After that, you can still register but must vote at the same time.
- Absentee voting opens 28 days before each election, in person at the Election Center or by mail.
- Address or party changes after registration closes must be done in person.
- Party affiliation: to vote in a party’s primary you must be registered with that party by the deadline set each spring. In 2026 it was May 13.
