Better Education

Teton County Democrats know that the foundation of a child’s character develops at a very early
age. We must invest more in early childhood education and quality child care.
We support a system of free public education that offers excellence of teaching and the
acceptance and recognition of every students’ efforts and abilities in all fields of endeavor.
We must invest more in attracting and hiring well qualified teachers and compensate said
teachers commensurate to true living wages for Teton County.
We call for elimination of the unfunded federal mandate known as No Child Left Behind.
