Volunteers needed for County Fair

Bonnie Koeln has reminded us that it
is not too early to start organizing for the
next thing we need to do which is to have a
presence (a booth) at the Teton County Fair
from July 24th to 27th. We need a leader
or chairman for that. We have to cover
(exclusive of set-up on Wednesday, July 23,)
some 37 hours on Thursday through Sunday, July
24-27, and as in the past, we should have two
people there for each shift. That's 74
people hours we need covered.
We do have a list of 75 volunteers, some
of whom will help with shifts,
so we should have plenty of people.
We just need a chair to organize all of those
people! Carol Wauters is our volunteer
coordinator and will help the chair get the
volunteers organized.
We will have some Convention tote bags to
sell (for a $10 donation), as well as the
convention buttons. No, we will NOT be
selling the Big D buttons (except maybe for a
HUGE donation -- like $500 minimum?) but we
will give one to any new volunteer who does not
already have one.
We were required to buy one weekly
parking pass for the Fair, which Bonnie
has and will pass on to whoever wants
to chair this effort. If anyone is
willing to take charge of this, please let
